Healthy Breaded Chicken Nugs!

What You'll Need

☆ 8oz chicken breasts 

☆ 1-2 eggs

☆ 1/2c raw oats 

☆ 1 tsp garlic powder 

☆ 1 tsp onion powder 

☆ 1 tsp lemon pepper salt @traderjoes

☆ 1/2 tsp paprika 

General Prep: 

☆ Preheat air fryer 350F

Prep egg wash: 

☆ Crack the eggs, scramble them, and lay them out onto a plate.

Prep the flour:

☆ Put oats and seasonings into a blender and grind into a fine powder. Lay the powder in a separate plate beside the egg wash.

Prep the chicken: 

☆ Rinse and pat dry the chicken cutlets 

☆ Shape the cutlets into desired nugget/ finger shape

☆ Dip the cutlet into the egg wash, then roll into the oat flour mixture. Be sure to shake all excess flour off to save as much as you can for the remaining amount of chicken! (add flour if needed, though it will adjust macros) 

☆ Place chicken into the air fryer (pam spray or oil will do, which ever you prefer, I used the spray). 

☆ Air fry for 12-15 min, keep an eye on the color of the flour- it would be a golden brown nugget color! 

☆ Serve with some veggies, SF ketchup or mustard. Enjoy!
