Macro- friendly Entenmann's donuts
Ingredients
2 cups of almond flour
1/4 cup of wheat flour (I actually used @kodiakcakes buttermilk protein pancake mix)
3 tablespoons of coconut sugar
1/4 cup of cacao powder
1.5 teaspoons of baking soda
1/4 cup of dairy free milk
1/2 teaspoon of Himalayan salt
2 eggs
4 tablespoons of coconut oil melted
1/4 cup of sugar-free maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Chocolate glaze
• 1/2 cup of @lilys_sweets dark chocolate chips
• 1 tablespoon coconut oil melted
• pinch of salt
(micro on and off 20 seconds incrementally, mixing in between until melted completely. no longer than 1 min)
Instructions
• Preheat oven to 350°
• In two separate bowls mix the wet ingredients and the dry ingredients
• Add the dry ingredients to the wet and stir until well combined
• Spray a donut pan with nonstick, add the batter, and bake for 15 minutes
• Once cooked, allow the donuts to cool
• Dip in the glaze and enjoy!
