Apple Cider Crumb cake Donuts

Looking for a guilt-free treat this Fall?

Here's an oldie but a goodie! This recipe is both Gluten & refined sugar free and is served with a caramel maple glaze that's only 2 simple ingredients!! It's sooo easy and even more delicious- ( seriously tastes like a crumb cake and apple cider donut had a beautiful baby). REAL donut lovers will even be addicted

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup almond flour

  • 2 tbsp coconut flour

  • 1 tsp baking soda

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar Swerve

  • 1/2 tbsp cinnamon

GLAZE:

  • 1/4 cup creamy cashew butter

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

CINNAMON SUGAR

  • 1/4 cup Swerve brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp cinnamon

DIRECTIONS:

  • Preheat oven to 350 F

  • Combine all donut ingredients and mix thoroughly

  • Use non-stick spray to grease a donut pan and spoon the dough into molds

  • Bake for 10 minutes- they should rise and lightly brown around the edges

  • Remove and let cool for 5 minutes and then turn pan upside down to pop the donuts out

  • Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar (you can brush lightly with maple syrup to help it stick)

  • Combine the cashew butter and maple syrup to make the caramel maple glaze to use for dipping (or drizzle it over them if you wish!)
